James has been a Senior Business Consultant with Awake Consulting since 2010. He excels at helping leaders develop clarity, create strategies, and resolve conflicts while maximizing resources and time to achieve organizational excellence. James has administered coaching and leadership courses both in the U.S. and internationally, including in Cuba, China, Russia, and the Philippines.

In addition to his work at Awake, James founded Connections Consulting Inc. in 2005, focusing on leadership coaching and cultural education. He has helped launch several non-profit ministries and organizations, including Break Thru Ministries, Service Over Self, and FollowOne International. James has also played a key role in developing an international school in Asia.

James holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Mississippi State University and a graduate degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. He has completed coursework for a doctoral degree in cross-cultural leadership and has extensive international experience.
